Collection: Masahiro Wadayama Collection

Masahiro Wadayama is an award winning porcelain ceramicist based in Wakayama.  He uses Japanese Porcelain which is more durable and less porous than traditional earthenware making them an optimal material for everyday use.  Often using Japanese indigo, Wadayama selects vibrant colors that brighten up a surface. While the tableware pieces have a commanding presence like works of art in and of themselves, Wadayama intends for them to be used everyday.
